2011 Event Info

May 14, 2011 The West Michigan Airport Authority (WMAA) entered this unique airplane float in the City of Holland’s Tulip Time Muziekparade. The 23′ red and white Cougar airplane was donated for the parade by area resident and Tulip City Airport user, Ken Danenberg. The float was designed by Ron and Linda Ludema, Tulip City Air Service and FBO, and included a runway and guiding runway lights. Four children outfitted in junior pilot attire rode on the float and ten sign holders walked alongside with signs designating global access to the world.

The City of Zeeland, Park Township, and City of Holland comprise the West Michigan Airport Authority and are working together to provide this vital community service.
